- Ohio Toolkit for Homeless Education Liaisons - Community Collaboration Guide
Review additional strategies for collaboration between schools and agencies using the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) Community Collaboration Guide. This tool, as well as others on this webpage, provides resources for students experiencing homelessness but can also be useful to a team working with multi-system youth. The guide offers additional information and recommendations for establishing both formal and informal relationships between schools and community organizations.
- Area Coordinators Directory
The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce area coordinators are available to serve as a primary point of contact for school and district leaders with specific questions or when they are unsure who to contact within the Department.
- Ohio’s Parent Mentor Project
Parent Mentors are available across Ohio to support families with children with special needs to navigate local and state special education processes and services. Parent Mentors are family members of children with special needs who receive additional training through the Parent Mentor Project. The Ohio’s Parent Mentor Project webpage provides a variety of resources as well as contact information for parent mentors across the state.
